This is an update.
Although the change from 15 to 5 seconds brought some immediate success
it hasn't brought a long term solution.
I have then changed the 5 seconds to 1 second and since that squid
is really cleaning up and freeing *disk space*
The values about how much disk space squid thinks it's using and
the number of objects in the cache are not influenced and keep
stable.
Also the HTTP service time didn't change because of that modification
as didn't other performance related parameters, AFAICS.
