Can we include this in the squid distribution? (It's one thing the
cygwin port is missing...)

I don't suppose you'd be interested in working on a cygwin NTLM
authentication scheme (seamless windows logons) helper would you? The
current samba based backend will work over the network, once I get time
to port the networking code, but a native one would be excellent :]

Which covers the protocol (it is still a work in progress but the latest
revision should eliminate the last race condition....).
