nope, no basic authentication.
The anti virus package is from trend microsystems.
I can define a proxy with username and password, but it won't work (no basic
auth).
I'm just using the ntlm module to keep all the citrix users apart (and it
works :)).
I'm currently rewriting my mysql import scheme, but encountered some
problems.
I'll allso try to remove the domain\ ...
fist try, but what the heck.

Could you please provide a little more detail? Perhaps the anti-virus
software name?
Any HTTP compliant software should fall back to basic authentication if you
have that enabled. (It's enabled by configuring authenticate_program)
