[SQU] squid exits shortly after starting, 'Resource temporarily unavailable'

So,

what has changed?

This is really strange. I maintain hundreds of machines with almost *exactly*
the same configuration. The difference is, that this machine is probably the
heaviest used, and on the fastest connection.

All other processes on this machine run okay (sendmail does a lot of work).

I don't understand the 'resource temporarily unavailable'.
This machine is not really loaded at all by the way, and the same problems
happens right after a reboot.

I'm now running a http-gw from fwtk on it, which runs fine.
