Is Squid's default behavior to not cache objects that do not
specifically state "Cache-Control: Public" and an "Expires:" header? I have
been toying with different headers and could not get Squid to cache an
object until I added a "Cache-Control: Public" header and forced the minimum
cache time to something other than zero in squid.conf. Can anybody offer
any insight?
Thanks
