[SQU] cachemgr

Hello, i am trying to setup the cachemgr.cgi

i know i have to setup the cachemgr.cgi file on a web server
but does that webserver have to be installed on the linux machine or can i use a webserver like iis on nt and tell cachemgr.cgi which server and port to connect onto.

Do i have to have squid specially configured to allow cachemgr or does the defaults allow it to work.
