Are you ABSOLUTELY positive that you can use lynx ON THE SAME SERVER AS
SQUID (not your own station or some other computer) to retreive content
from servers with underscore in their name?

Do I understand you correctly that you get some content but not all? If
so, are you positively sure that all your peers handles hosts with
underscores in them? A quick workaround if not is to force your Squid to
go direct on hosts with _ in their name

acl underscore dstdom_regex _
always_direct allow underscore
