I am having the same kind of troubles. A particular site just will not
display properly until I put in the address *including* the trailing
index.html ... which leads me to believe that index.html is cached.. if I
compare the two.. sure enough each index.html has different source.
I have put in PURGES and flushed the cache and even performed an echo "" >
/cachepath1/swap.state on the four swap.state files which should,
theoretically clear the entire cache (not something I like to do.. it costs
money) and I still get the same anolmie....
If anyone has any thoughts on why this occurs I would be very appreciative.
Is there a way to tell proxy never to cache an index.html file ever again?
