('binary' encoding is not supported, stored as-is) You may want to try su'ing to the user that squid is running as (probably
squid) and
then try to cat /usr/local/squid/etc/errors/ERR_READ_TIMEOUT and see if it
fails,
if it does, tweek the permissions tell it works...
