Suid Patch

hello,

i want to apply a squid patch but it doesn't seem ok. My source code is
the squid-2.3.STABLE2 and the patch is group_ldap_auth.diff-2.3.Stable2.

Then i compile my source code and apply the patch with the folllow
command
path -p2 < "Patch File"

and run the follows commands.

./configure
make
make install

all seem ok in the differents stages but i can't find the
/usr/local/squid/bin/suid_ldap_auth program

why ?????????????????????
