Hi all,
This is my setup:
[network1]<--{ethernet}--->[network2]
| |
| |
[squid1] [squid2]
| |
{128kbps} {128kbps}
| |
+------->[provider]<-------+
|
[squid3]
|
INTERNET
We currently have two networks connected to the same service provider
at 128 kbps each. I've configured [squid1] to use [squid2] and
[squid3] as parents, [squid2] is configured to use [squid3] as parent
and [squid1] as sibling. Both proxies (squid1 & squid2) were compiled
with ICMP and cache digests options.
[Network2] doesn't really have much traffic than [network1] so I want
to make use of the available bandwidth there. What `tweaking' should I
do on both servers to ensure that they really do balance the load on
the two WAN links?
Thanks!
