HELP!! :P

Hi,

We have some WIERD error messages coming up on our cache. We have a basic config and have compiled squid with asynch-io and thats about it..

Our system has 8192 file descriptors (we checked with cachemgr and we use only around 4000 of these max..) lots of inodes and lots of TCP ports avialable.

We have a SCSI controller with 64MB of ram on it.. and 10k seek, 18Gig SCSI hard drives (5 of them).
Our system has 1 Gig of ram and our cache_mem setting is 128MB.

*BUT* we get the error below (looks like an ethernet error to me)

Anyone got any ideas?? The above cache runs SQUID 2.3STABLE3 - We only get around 4000 requests a minute before this cache does this. How many should we REALLY get do you think ??Someone I know with an identical system gets around 18000 hits a minute.. Yet for the life of me I cannot replicate this (they dont use the same Compaq server hardware that I do however... could be that... )
