Proxies and per site refresh

Hi ,

Currently we have a list of sites listed in the 'No Proxy For' box in Netscape.
Is it possible to stick these in squid so users don't have to worry about them?.
Am I right in thinking I will need to use the always_direct directive? and will
they be cached?

Also is there a way to keep specific sites in cache for longer without them
being refreshed?.
