I've just tried to install squid on a new machine running linux 2.2.16
kernel and glibc 2.1.3. cache size is about 15GB, the box has 256MB of RAM.
the cache seems to work OK, but I keep getting these warnings about once a
minute; I'm not too happy since I can't really interpret them.
Version:
Version 2.3.STABLE3-hno.20000702
Configuration:
./configure --prefix=/usr/squid \
--enable-delay-pools \
--enable-cachemgr-hostname=proxy \
--enable-err-language=German \
--disable-ident-lookups \
--enable-underscores \
--enable-gnuregex \
--enable-async-io
Cache is using 2 drives:
cache_dir asyncufs /usr/squid/cache01 8640 16 256
cache_dir asyncufs /usr/squid/cache02 7212 16 256
The cache does both normal and transparent proxying and is a parent for a
bunch of customer caches.
Any idea what's going on?
Bye, Martin
