squid and Netscape proxy interaction

Hello

I was just wondering if anyone has squid and Netscape proxies talking
together?

We have a squid proxy, and another company has a Netscape proxy, and we
need the users to be authenticated by our squid proxy and then all the
traffic to pass thorugh the Netscape proxy easily.

Their first question to us was does squid support socks. (so they can
tell whether users have been authenticated by us or not)

Does anyone have any experience with netscape/squid interaction?
