prefer_direct with squid version 2.1.25?

Hello,

one of my customers has squid v.2.1.25 in a "black box firewall" from extended
systems.

It is necessary to configure "prefer_direct=off" to use a parent proxy w/o
direct route into the internet.

Is there the prefer_direct option under squid v.2.1.25?
