We are at Universidad Nacional de Colombia in Medellin, we've been trying
to install a squid-2.3.STABLE2. The compilation section was fine(OK), but
when we try to run it then the following error occurs:
[root@lares init.d]#m/etc/rc.d/init.d/squid start
Starting squid: init_cache_dir ufs... squid
FATAL: Bungled squid.conf line 460: cache_dir ufs /home1/cache/squid 10 16
256
Squid Cache (Version 2.2.STABLE4): Terminated abnormally.
CPU Usage: 0.010 seconds
Maximum Resident Size: 0 KB
Page faults with physical i/o: 170
[root@lares init.d]#
The setting variable in squid.conf is:
cache_dir ufs /home1/cache/squid 1000 16 256
Could any of you help us about this problem?
Are there others ufs types that we can use them?
Our O.S is Linux version is Redhat 6.1 (Kernel 2.2.12-20)
Thanks a lot for any information.
Bye,
Oscar Alexander Gomez Restrepo
