problem in configuring squid

Dear Friends,

I'm configuring the squid proxy server and after the make and make install,
when I run the script RunCache with the following command

% /usr/local/squid/bin/RunCache& %

the following is shown on the screen 4-5 times

Running: squid -sY >> /usr/local/squid/squid.out 2>&1

and then the following appears

RunCache: EXITING DUE TO REPEATE, FREQUENT FAILURES

Please help!
