Hi,
I had the same problem running a script from cron doing the log rotation and a
calamaris report. At the beginning it didn't run correctly. The problem was I
run that script from a user squid. It was only a permission problem.
So please check your filesystem permissions or run the command from root's
crontab.
regards
Oliver

Subject: Why is squid -k rotate not rotating my logs?
Hi all,
As per the FAQ, I added this to my crontab, and it actually doesnt
work....
0 0 * * * /usr/local/squid/bin/squid -k rotate
the command squid -k rotate launched from the shell prompt doesnt seem
to do anything...!!
Using Squid Cache: Version 2.3.STABLE1 on Sparc/Solaris 7
Any ideas? Thanx alot.
