From the same Web page where you found the description of squid-dev, there is
this description of squid-users:
"The membership of this list is thousands of Squid users from around the
world. As with most mailing lists, we don't like it when different people
keep asking the same questions."
One such repeated question/issue involves variants of "I'm trying to install
Squid 2.x.DEVEL.y but it's not working - can someone help?" despite the Web
site clearly stating that squid-users is not for DEVEL problems.
If you want the list charter changed, then complain directly to the Squid
developers to open up DEVEL discussions from squid-dev and squid-bugs onto
squid-users.
