Bug report.. Squid 2.3 Stable 2

OS: Solaris 7
Filesystem: VXFS
Volume Management: Veritias Volume Manager
Hardware: E3000 with 4 x 248 Mhz cpu's, 4 gig of Ram, 1 x A5000 storage array
Filedescriptors: 8192

We are seeing the following turn up in cache.log when squid stops:

2000/04/18 15:58:12| assertion failed: pump.c:125: "p != NULL"

The following is how it was configured and compiled with gcc 2.95.2

Any ideas what is causing the failure in pump.c?
