On sunday my recently installed squid 2.3 STABLE1 (on redhat 6.1) showed
some problems.
/var/log/messages:
Mar 19 07:19:37 xxx squid[553]: storeDirClean: /cache3/02/D5: (13) Permis
sion denied
Mar 19 07:19:37 xxx kernel: grow_inodes: inode-max limit reached

Mar 19 07:19:52 xxx squid[553]: storeDirClean: /cache1/03/D5: (13) Permis
sion denied
My inode-max is 16384, and there were no inode errors before the permission
error. Further I was completely unable to recover the system without
restarting. Could someone advise me what I may have done wrong with
configuration, or what extra information I need to provide?
Thanks
David Watson
