"high availability" for proxy and news servers

I have uploaded my configuration of "high availability" for proxy and news
on
     http://www.sachweh.de/pub/haproxynews.htm

It´s all in german and not really a ha solution with zero downtime. But for
me it works quite nice.
HA is implemented via scripts and there are not portable written. The
scripts work fine on Solaris 7.
