Reverse Proxy question ...

We're checking out SQUID and we're wondering if it does reverse proxying.
What I'm wanting is for the machine to accept a URL of the form:

   http://proxy.company.com/123

internally do a lookup to say:

   http://internal.company.com/123.html

and return the results to an external user. The idea is that we can thereby
allow selected outside people access to our internal web servers via the ACL
mechanism.

Is this possible? What would be config directives to set up this sort of
thing?

Thanks for any info!
