Hi squid gurus.
I have a plan to using multi squid servers on one system.
Each cache system will have following configuration.
1 disk : system, user's home, loging
cache disk1 : user squid01's caching area
cache disk2 : user squid02's caching area
cache disk3 : user squid03's caching area
HTTP requests will be distributed into these servers by a cache director. (with hashing funtion)
I expect these configuration will reduce Disk I/O bottleneck and cache object index of squid.
Is it better than 1 cache server with multi caching area?
Is there anybody who has used similar squid configuration, tell me your experience.
SEE YOU SPACE COWBOY ...
