howto-cache_peer

Hi everybody,
I've installed squid2.3STABLE1 successfully ...
In squid.conf I made an entry for a parent cache :
cache_peer www-proxy.rz.uni-sb.de parent 3128 3130
How can I find out if and how often the parent cache is used ???
