Generally squid has been performing well, however I have just
seen this in the access log when investigating a downed server:
$ tail -2 fcache.log
949416812.189 4932 212.104.138.197 TCP_HIT/200 16320 GET http://vger.rutgers.edu/~tempest/pics/redirect_roo.gif - NONE/- image/gif
949416812.869 759 195.188.37.170 TCP_MISS/000 1958 GET http://www.askjeeves.com/ - DEFAULT_PARENT/195.188.32.54 -
assertion "off <= sz" failed: file "rfc1035.c", line 338
Client is a Netscape Proxy 3.5 if that makes any difference,
and this is the only time this has happened here.
Is this a known problem?
Kind regards
Stuart
