Right hint, my mistake: 'unlinkd' couldn't even be started because it
was not executable for the effective UID (!= 'root') squid is running
with. Under 2.2.STABLE5 this was no problem. After making 'unlinkd'
executable for this UID, too, it could be started and the messages
vanished.
