Works fine with a mostly default configuration for me..
Java Applets needs to use the HTTP methods from the browser to work with
a proxy. The applet can't open TCP/IP sessions on it's own.
JavaScript and VBScript are executed in the browser, possibly
triggereing the browser to download HTTP objects of post HTTP requests.
Shouldn't be any problem.
