Hi

Firstly, please excuse the above disclaimer, it is tagged to all mail
by my gateway. Sorry.

I have two squids running, one 1.2.x and one 2.2s5. I'm migrating
from the older to the newer.

In the 1.2 config file there is an ACL type called 'user' which allows
you to specify a list of usernames. This is useful for allowing a
certain group of people to download .exe, .zip etc but denying anyone
else.

This option appears to have disappeared in 2.2. There is an option
called 'ident' but this does not seem to do the same thing. Can
anyone suggest how I might achieve this same functionality in 2.2?

Thanks

Martin.

The package said Windows NT 4 or better so I installed Linux.
