It'd leave people at NLANR perfectly free to write code with such
features in their free time.... it's what they do as (essentially)
government employees that's the subject of discussion. Telling
government that it can't do something is distinctly different from
telling private citizens they can't do something. For instance, as I
mentioned earlier, I support the right of private citizens to put out
Neo-Nazi materials, but I certainly wouldn't want a Neo-Nazi in
government office.
