Hi! Thanks for all the replies, here are the configuration parameters for squid and mrtg
I have not tried manually to snmp squid, but will do that.
squid.conf

acl mrtgsnmp snmp_community public
snmp_access allow mrtgsnmp localhost
snmp_access deny all
snmp_incoming_address 127.0.0.1 ### Have tried 0.0.0.0 and ip of computer
snmp_outgoing_address 0.0.0.0 ### See above

Which kind of machine are you running?
Have you tried to get a manual snmp tool and do some snmp walking on it?
eg. cmu-snmp-utils (for linux)
