This is clearly a URL syntax error problem
and nothing to do with access lists.

This has been wrapped in transit. If that was because there was
a space after brick1;, the reason for the fault is that the URL
*is* invalid. See squid.conf for options for working around the
illegal use of spaces in URLs, or use a browser which doesn't
blindly forward broken URLs. If this is a space in URL problem,
it will recorded in your squid logs.

However, you probably don't really want to fix this anyway, as it
is only a banner advert - relatively benign as snap.com don't seem
to be sending anything too sensitive to doubleclick (at least at one
time, altavista sent your search parameters), but they are tending
to
create an uncacheable reference (at least when altavista first
started
doing this, doubleclick returned the actual GIF, rather than a
redirect to it). Many people actually use ACL to fault this sort of
        URL!

What I don't understand is why the browser is showing the error
response, rather than just a broken image symbol.

Incidentally, my impression was that most people providing free
internet cafe type services generally discouraged their use
        for email.

Note that all these portal type services tend to have bad
        cacheability.
