Tranparent Proxy on --Help

Hi all,

I have a simple question. I want to make squid server
running on solaris/ x86 as a transparent proxy server.
Can I do it by using cisco router for forwarding all
traffic to Squid by using IP policy routing and Squid
is configured for Forward proxy server (with out
--enable-ipf-transparent switch) to listen at port
8080.

Logically it makes sense and it should work.
Can anyone help me ?
