Two problems with 2.2.STABLE2

Hello,

The first one:

 When our link to Internet went down I got:
FATAL: Too many queued dnsserver requests
Squid Cache (Version 2.2.STABLE2): Terminated abnormally.

I don't think, that squid should shutdown if this happens ...?
I've 15 dnsservers, running squid on Debian Linux 2.1 (slink), PII ...

The second:
