Well, I still don't know what originated my problem with the error message
"commBind: Cannot bind socket FD 16 to 192.58.197.37:0: (99) Cannot assign
requested address"
at every http-request (BTW the IP-Nr. there is the one being requested at
this precise moment).
But I've now just compiled and freshly installed the new version squid 2.2
stable 2, and all works fine!
I'm happy again, just still wondering what was the reason for the strange
behaviour with the previous version.
Anyway, many thanks for the answers.
