memory used ?

Hi !

I use squid as my proxy server and I would like to know about its memory
performance. In fact, according to the cache manager, I have the
following result in general runtime information :

> Memory accounted for:
> Total accounted: 1893 KB
>
But if I do a top, I have this one :

> 25576 root 33 0 7792K 4312K sleep 5:34 0.00% 0.00% squid
>

What is real ? Could you explain to me the real memory used by squid ?
