2.2.DEVEL3 easily overloads the async-io code when unlinking large
amount of files or when the disk load gets above the limit the system
can handle.

I have a workaround available which takes care of most situations by
bypassing the disk if the I/O code is overloaded and change Squid to
block instead of terminate when the I/O code gets heavily overloaded
(which may happen when there is a huge burst of cache removal).
