hello,
I have set the file descriptor size with the
sysctl utility as shown in the squid FAQ
http://squid.nlanr.net/Squid/FAQ/FAQ-11.html
but when squid starts it says that it has 1064
free file descriptors but the
sysctl -a and pstat -T commands say that there are
32768 max file descriptors...
also cachemgr still says;
File descriptor usage for squid:
Maximum number of file descriptors: 1064
Largest file desc currently in use: 51
Number of file desc currently in use: 51
Available number of file descriptors: 1013
Reserved number of file descriptors: 100
Disk files open: 3
what is wrong??? is there something that I am missing???
