Hi.
I need a log analyzer script or program that will generate a report in
either text or html (html preferable) that will give me a list of user IP
addresses, the sites that they have visited, and the times that they
vistited the afore mentioned sites.
If anyone knows of a piece of software (or a command parameter
for calamaris) that will do this, please get back to me as it is kind
of urgent :)
Now, before i get flamed to hell and back by people, lemme tell you
why i need it. I am the sys admin at a school, our upstream
provider has filtering systems on their proxy, but because no one
has the time to go through every single site that may have
questionable content, i need to be able to find where students are
going, and if anything looks suspicious, i can visit it and block it if
nessesary. Up to date, i have been using calamaris to show me
the top visited sites (assuming that if a students gains access to a
pornography site or similiar, he /she will tell people and they will all
go to it, making it show up). But this is not effective enough and
due to pressure from parents to impliment a more secure internet
environment for their children, i have been instructed to do
something about it :)
Help me!
Thanks
Matthew
