Hi,
I'm experiencing some oddness trying to get through to the AskJeeves
website and trying to find out if the problem is us/them, or a combination
of the two. The rest of the Internet works for us, and I can access this
site from other domains, so I'm at a loss.
www.ask.com technical support has been unable to resolve this issue.
Basically, the exchange goes like this:
We connect through squid to their site. Sometimes we get back the entire
first page, sometimes not. After that, all requests will return just the
HTTP header and up to the <body> tag. The request eventually times out.
No entries appear in access.log until the client times out, then we get
things like:
