Now I know this has been asked before, and I know the answer should be
obvious, but I have tried everything I can think of.
A couple times a day Squid (on BSDI 4.0) just stops, reporting the following:
FATAL: xmalloc: Unable to allocate 4096 bytes!
Squid Cache (Version 1.1.18): Terminated abnormally.
Now, I am starting squid with the start-squid script that comes with BSDI,
and I have modified it to try to get around this. I have included the
following:
limit datasize unlimited
limit openfiles unlimited
limit memoryuse unlimited
limit memorylocked unlimited
limit maxproc unlimited
limit stacksize unlimited
I was really hoping this would stop my problem, but it has not. I still
get it. Any idea what else I need to be doing?
