Netscape problem, doesnt use autoconf properly with 1.2beta21

Hi,

 Here's the deal, running squid1.2b21 and apache1.2.x for parsing up the
proxy.pac file.
Netscape runs really well when set to manual proxy. But with auto I get
a couple of browsers open, click one link and it will pause for about 7
seconds before doing anything? Why the hell is this. Netscape didn't
have any answer for me apart from "Maybe you should close some programs
down, you could be running low on system resources". So, what is
netscape waiting for, it's already got the proxy auto file when it
started, is that what it's waiting for? To get it again?
