I compile 1.2b21 (with and without patch1) on a OSF 4.0b with cc. All
work fine.
I launch squid with "squid -sY &".

Objet: 1.2beta21 and async-io
It just won't seem to run for me. It compiles fine ("./configure
--enable-async-io;make"), but when I start it up, I just get a
bunch of
processes called "(squid)". Everything looks pretty normal in
the logs
until it tries to deal with the first request, at which point it
complains
that the dnsserver isn't responding, and eventually shuts down
all 5 of
them and quits.
RedHat 5, Linux v2.0.34pre11. If you compile without async-io it
runs just
peachy.
Anyone had similar problems and/or sucess with async-io?
