Re: Squid as Web SERVER (for .pac files)?

Am I missing the obvious, or couldn't you just

- run a HTTP server (even the very simple shell script recently
  presented to the list) on a TCP port different from the one
  your Squid uses

- run Squid in both http_accel and proxy mode, letting it
  accelerate the HTTP server/shell script.

That way, you get what you want.
