squid cfg question

Hello,

I have following problem:
we are connected to corporate intranet , where ip addresses in use are
not registered, so i cannot use our registered address for internet
access. Also i can access all www resources through proxies only. My
concern is whether it is possible to set up squid to fetch data from
parent proxies only (separate proxy for intranet and internet
resources). I also noticed that squid performs some dns lookup on
startup. It dies because of this dns lookup is not successful. The dns
servers i can use are for intranet addresses only. All internet requests
must be performed by the parent proxy. The question is can i set up
squid to do all these strange things? Any help would be appreciated.
