Even after upgrading to a new squid 1.1.15, and then completely rebuilding
the squid cache the problem with ftp occured again today.
The following error results when user attempt to access an ftp site via
their web client
While trying to retrieve the URL: ftp://ftp.direct.ca
The following error was encountered:
Read Error
The system returned:
(54) Connection reset by peer
Or this error
While trying to retrieve the URL: ftp://sunsite.unc.edu
The following error was encountered:
No Object Data
This means that:
The remote server closed the connection before sending any data.
Does anybody have any idea what is causing this?
Regards
Terrence
