dnnservers

Hi,
 I am having problems starting squid 1.1.6 as root
with the rc scripts. I can start squid as a regular
users with no problems. But when "root" tries to
start squid with the squid.rc script I get failures
because of what I think is a permissions problem. I
have setup the user squid is supposed to runas, but
that doesn't seem to work. The problem is with
dnsserver somewhere and trying to launch squid as root.

any pointers would be great...
