How can this be possible?
Also I have set in squid.conf, maximum_object_size 8192. Is there a
parameter to set the maximum VM object size?

I am using 1.1.6 already, will apply the patches later. About the log file
in /usr/local/squid/cache/, what does it log? I cannot find its
description in the squid FAQ. It is 3MB now. What kind of regular
maintenance do I need to do?
Your help has been wonderful, thank you.
