I'm trying to reduce the avg service time for my redirector
processes. First I tried the sample perl template but it seemed
much to big for such a simple thing. I tried awk wich seems
much smaller, at least for the file size (half of perl)
The avg time is around 0.4 seconds, is this reasonable for
currently only one rule checked for?
Any other small and fast tool for substituting?
I tried to get sed flushing but failed, the gawk has fflush
for this purpose.
thanks,
